Juktarashtra Habigonj Zila Samity Inc.
Juktarashtra Habigonj Zila Samity Inc. was established on 1996 as a 501(3) nonprofit organization with a public charity status, in queens, New York. Mr. Kazi B. Hayder, Mr. Kashem Ali, Mr Mukles Muntasir, Mr. Zokiuddin Chowdhury, Mr. Muazzem Hossein Shazu, Mr. Kazi Saleh Ahmed, Mr Syed Abdul Wahed, Mr. Shabbir Kazi Ahmed, Md. Giasuddin, Md. Shamsuzzaman, Syed Kamrul Hasan, and many others formed this organization. It has been selecting it’s executive committee every two years.

- We provide two special scholarships for high school graduates whose biological from Habigonj District of Bangladesh: (1) Monetary Scholarship for the amount of $500.00 to each recipient, (2) Specialized School admit-tees Scholarship for the amount of $200.00 to each recipient.
- Specialized school admit-tees must apply before June 30, annually. High school graduates must apply by May 30, annually.

Membership Categories
General Member
Journalists currently working in print, broadcast or Web news media with at least six months experience in the New York area. Professional journalists of print, broadcast and online media will qualify as primary members of the Club. Primary members shall have the right to participate in all activities of the organization. They are eligible to vote and contest election of the Club. Fee: $60/year.
Life Member
Journalists and other workers of print, broadcast and online media; and writers, columnists, either working now or had worked previously, and those who are contributing or had contributed significantly to the development of journalism in the USA or any other part of the world, are eligible for being Life Member of the organization.the same.
